Instrumental Programme


The programme runs from 11 to 15 June 2024.

The festival provides a wide range of opportunities to develop comprehensive musical abilities for strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion students. 

Available for:
Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute , Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion.

There are only 10 slots available for each instrument, except for violins, which have 20 slots.

The activities included in the instrumental programme are:
1-on-1 Instrumental Lessons

Every active participant receives an hour of lesson with an artist faculty member to enhance his/her skill on his/her instrument.

Instrumental Masterclasses

Each masterclass focuses on a particular instrument, as the faculty guides the participants through solo repertoire or orchestral excerpts.

Group Workshops

Each workshop covers topics such as music appreciation, rhythm, and more to provide attendees with a well-rounded education.

Ensemble Rehearsals

Selected participants will rehearse with the artist faculty in preparation for the Closing Gala. Audition is required to be part of the Festival Orchestra.

Performance Opportunities

Selected participants also have the chance to perform alongside world-class faculties at the concert, which will mark the end of the festival. Other opportunities include lunchtime concerts, chamber performances and more.

The festival offers a great networking opportunity for music students, hobbyists, performers and educators to meet and connect.

The active participants are encouraged to bring/present their own materials (study, concert, etude) to the individual lesson and/or masterclass. For those who are new to instrumental lessons, please reach out to us.
