Frequently asked questions

Why is there a minimum age for applicants?
The programme may require the musicians to travel within Malaysia or even abroad, so it is not ideal for students who need a parent or guardian to accompany them.
If my ensemble is selected, will we coordinate the rehearsals ourselves?
You are encouraged to do so, as the selected group will be given a schedule of performances and mentoring sessions in advance, and will usually have a limited amount of time available at the venue(s) before the performances and sessions.
Will there be a performance every month?
No, unless there is a change in the schedule, which will be communicated in advance.
