When two of Southeast Asia's brass ensembles come together, something extraordinary happens.

Bringing together Mahidol Brass Band (Thailand) and Rondo Brass (Malaysia), this landmark collaboration celebrates the power of music to transcend borders through a vibrant programme of contemporary masterworks, lyrical solo features, and cultural storytelling.

From the explosive energy of Fire in the Blood to the poetic beauty of Starlit Night, audiences will journey through music inspired by nature, memory, folklore, and imagination. The evening also features two outstanding soloists, Alongkorn Laosaichuea in Joy Webb's beloved Share My Yoke, and Tan Shun Zhong in the Malaysian premiere of Chaiwanichsiri's Promise in the Rain.

Following the interval, experience two Malaysian premieres, including the brilliantly imaginative That Time I Got Into A Super Long Boss Fight And Got Overcooked, before concluding with works that celebrate the shared musical heritage of the region, culminating in a newly crafted Malaysian Folk Song Medley.

More than a concert, this is a celebration of friendship, artistic excellence, and the growing spirit of cultural collaboration between Malaysia and Thailand—showcasing the next generation of brass musicians from across ASEAN.
