Jasper Grijpink is clarinettist and E-flat clarinettist of the Residentie Orkest in The Hague, Netherlands. He teaches orchestral parts and E-flat clarinet at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.

At that same conservatoire, he studied with Ab Vos and Pierre Woudenberg. He was taught by Eric Hoeprich on historical instruments, and took part in masterclasses with Karl Leister, Martin Fröst, Michael Collins, and Béla Kovács.

Jasper substituted with many of the major Dutch symphony orchestras. As a soloist, he played clarinet concertos by Mozart, Weber, Finzi, Spohr, Adams, Shaw, and Copland, among others, with various orchestras.

In January 2013, he played the Dutch premiere of Benjamin Britten's clarinet concerto - which coincidentally was the subject of his master's research as part of his studies at the conservatoire. In April 2014, Jasper was one of the instrumental soloists in Claude Vivier's opera Kopernikus in a production of De Nederlandse Opera.

Jasper is also active in chamber music. He is part of several ensembles, including Trio Cortado (flute, cor anglais and bass clarinet). The first CD of this ensemble was released in April 2017, with recordings of his own arrangements of French repertoire by Ravel, Couperin and Debussy. Since 2017, he has been playing the saxophones and clarinets in The Novelties.
