Award-winning pianist Vincent Ong returns for A Homecoming, marking a defining national moment following his historic achievement of becoming the first Malaysian prizewinner and finalist at the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition.
This piano masterclass and dialogue in Penang focuses on mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and inspiration, offering young musicians and educators rare insight into the artistic journey behind international excellence.
We warmly invite students, teachers, and emerging talents to join us in celebrating learning, growth, and the next generation of Malaysian musicians.
Vincent Ong: A Homecoming is a national initiative powered by the Ministry of Human Resources, TalentCorp, Penang State Government, and the Penang State EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy; supported by Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur and ABRSM; and officially presented by Rondo Production.
The Penang Programme is also supported by Penang Marriott Hotel, Bentley Music, Steinway Galleries Malaysia and Penang Waterfront Convention Centre.
