RondoFest Music Festival is Southeast Asia's premier hub for cultural exchange and musical collaboration. It's where aspiring young musicians find mentors, hone their craft and connect with their artistic identity, all in the pursuit of excellence in classical music.

Is the registration fee inclusive of meals, accommodation & transportation?
The registration fee varies by programme and includes different benefits; please refer to the programme guidelines for details: < Orchestra/Instrumental > and < Conducting >
Can I get financial assistance for the festival?
We only offer needs-based financial assistance and scholarships. You can indicate this during the application and audition process.
What is the official language for the festival?
English is the official language of the festival.
Do I need to audition for the festival?
In 2025, we introduced a new festival admissions process where all applicants must submit an audition clip and only those who are offered a position will be accepted into the festival.
Do I pay the registration fee upfront or after I am accepted?
The registration fee is payable upon acceptance of the offer. There is no application fee for auditions prior to this.
Can I get an official letter from my school/institution/employer to request leave to attend the Festival?
Am I allowed to take care of my kid if he/she is under 18 years old and wants to audition for the festival?
The festival welcomes parents and guardians, and a separate registration fee applies. Send us an email at admin@rondoproduction.my.
Does the festival provide insurance?
Everyone involved in the festival, including artists, faculty, and management, is covered by insurance.
When should I arrive in Penang?
It is recommended to arrive 1 day early on 2 June 2025. It is up to you to make further arrangements beyond the festival dates.
